With the Bobby Approved app, you can learn how to make informed decisions when buying groceries. By simply scanning the barcode of a box of pasta, loaf of bread, or box of cereal using your camera, you can find out if the product is made with high-quality ingredients or if it should be avoided.
The app highlights any harmful ingredients in red and provides detailed information about each of them. Bobby, who has dedicated years to researching the impact of ingredients on health, has curated a list of over 100 harmful ingredients that users can explore within the app.

Using the food scanner app is incredibly simple:

 <li>Scan any food barcode to determine if a product is Bobby Approved and receive an explanation as to why. Harmful ingredients are highlighted in red.</li>
 <li>Tap on each highlighted ingredient to understand its health impact.</li>
 <li>Search for specific products or individual ingredients, or browse products by store.</li>
 <li>If a product is not Bobby Approved, the app will suggest healthier alternatives.</li>

The database within the app flags over 100 ingredients that have been identified by Bobby as potentially harmful. These flagged ingredients have undergone scientific scrutiny and include both natural and artificial flavors, artificial sweeteners, food dyes, chemical additives, inflammatory seed oils, preservatives, and more. By being aware of these additives in your food, you can shop confidently for yourself and your family. The products and ingredients library in the app are consistently updated to include new data and new products.
